Now we'll miss you too, but you need to dry those tears, we'll still be here when you get back. You need to stop reading Joystiq, you need to go to your Xbox 360 (it doesn't seem to be on PC yet), and you need to download the new $7 Mass Effect 2 DLC that just went live after a brief delay, "Kasumi's Stolen Memory." We haven't played it yet, but it's more Mass Effect 2, so we're going to go out on a limb and guess that it's totally awesome. If you redeem the CD Key for Mass Effect 2 in Origin and download the game from there instead you can simply add and download the DLC directly through Origin aswell, without the nightmare system they have in place for non-Origin copies. It's rare that we'll say this, but we think this is the sort of moment that calls for it, we think: You need to stop reading Joystiq right now. You can see any DLC you do own on your account for Mass Effect 2 & 3 and also for Dragon Age Origins & Dragon Age II here: (sign into the EA account you own the DLC on).Įven the free DLC for Mass Effect 2 needs to be added to your account, which you can do by "buying" the DLC called Cerberus Network (at no actual cost) from here: Pinnacle Station (the key for which is on that page).Īll the rest are still paid DLC and require that you have bought them on your account in order to use them.įor Mass Effect 2 DLC you need to log into the EA account that owns the DLC from the main menu of the game after installing them in order to authorize them (you only need to do that once, after that log in isn't required).Īny "unauthorised" DLC should bring up a warning that they are not authorised but it would explain why they don't show up in-game.

I know the downloads are on the "Classic DLC" page but for most of them that doesn't mean they are now free. Just to check, did you actually buy the DLC on your account?
